Family Connection provided new and gently used coats, hats, scarves and gloves to at-risk families at our annual December Coat Distribution held at the First Baptist Church in Cornelia on Dec. 16th. Other partners included Kiwanis Club, Circle of Hope, MedLink, Amerigroup, Farm Bureau, North GA Technical College, the Central High Special Education Class, various businesses and many anonymous individuals. Thank you for giving us space, tables, materials, and volunteers! We give a special shout-out to the SPED class at Central High School for washing, drying and folding gently used items for us!
This year, with the help of many partners, we produced an estimated amount of in-kind funds totally $8,000 and supported 205 families. Thank you to our donors who made this possible!
