A resource night was held on Oct. 17 for students and their families at Mountain Education Charter High School.

There were 30 students who participated and 9 volunteers from agencies including MedLink, Family Resource Center, North GA Technical College and the Dept. of Public Health. Agency representatives set up tables for participants to visit and learn about programs and resources. Family Connection provided refreshments and access to the coat, maternity and baby needs closets. Several students received coats, jeans, and hoodies from the main closet and 3 parenting students utilized the baby needs closet for items. The resource night is a collaboration between Family Connection and MECHS and occurs at least once each semester.
