We were glad to be a part of the Back to School Bash offered by the Habersham County Sheriff’s Dept. on August 1st at the County Fairgrounds. It is estimated that 600 students were able to select backpacks and school supplies. Partners in Prevention provided water and pizza for attendees. Donations of school supplies came from numerous sources. Community agencies were on hand to share resource information to families. We also provided school supplies to the counselors at each school and school social workers for distribution to students in need.
